This old garage was all alone on a back road, the rest of the farm is long gone, and it stood alone and unloved for decades.

I'm glad I got this shot of my 1931 Pontiac Sport sedan sitting in the entrance of it, because it got torn down a week later (I never knew that was going to happen)

Old buildings give the countryside a feeling of history and character as far as I am concerned, and I think people should be less willing to destroy them, some new siding and shingles and this garage would have been good as new, and it was hurting nothing sitting here like this, but now it's just a pile of broken wood and rubble that is good to no one now.

You never know, anything is possible, it's too bad this building is gone now, I always liked it.

Yeah it looks older than our old garage on one of our old farmsteads. Ours is under a big tree so the roof is heavily damaged by water but no cave ins.

More and more of the cool old places like this in my area are getting destroyed, some are in a lot better shape then my own house even... it's sad.

It's a good subject to place with old things!

Wow! Good thing you got a shot of it when you did! Perhaps they tear them down for insurance reasons? It is too bad, for what ever reason. They really do give the landscape character, even as they return to the earth.
This is a beautiful automobile in front of a lovely old garage. Just gorgeous! Great shot!

I think it was just because it was old.

Too bad though, I need a garage to move to my place!
