The 56 by QuanticChaos1000 The 56 by QuanticChaos1000
I built this 56 Chevrolet (with a GMC hood in this photo) last summer for a friend.

This is made from 100% left over parts and scrap yard finds.

Reminds me of a certain Disney Pixar character voiced by a blue collar comedian......

That's one pretty sweet '56! One question though: if that's what the body looks like, what does the engine and transmission look like?!

Shiny and black, it was not a runner (they guy did not want me to bother with it for some reason) but it should take little to make it run.

Sure would be fun to see out on the road! I'm not quite sure why, but there's just something I like about seeing old trucks with mismatching parts. It's even cooler that it was made with left-overs and scrapyard parts! Kind of reminds me of Johnny Cash's "One Piece at a Time," except with a Chevy pickup, and not a Cadillac.

You can definitely tell it's a mid 50s truck because of the styling. Unfortunately, most of the Chevy cars in the mid 50s had the same look, cars, wagons and trucks alike. But the look worked very well and still looks awesome to this day.
